July 2008

• From one's and two's last month, we had 12 participants and 3 spectators this month. They enjoyed the experience and said they will be back for more.

June 2008

• Self Defence Lower Hutt has been a dream of mine for some time and it's great to finally see the doors opened.
• My goal now is to have 50 quality students by May 2009 which is a few months short of the 10th Anniversary of International Combat Hapkido New Zealand.
• Self Defence Upper Hutt have four new Black Belts. I've been lucky enough to have been part of and watched the progression of Bradley, Luke, Adam and Warrick from their very beginnings to their 1st Dan. In particular we are extremely proud of the high standards they have achieved.
• An opportunity to work with the Bank of New Zealand staff, customers and non customer of the Bank, in measures that they can keep themselves safe, we gave a demonstration and enabled general public to have one on one training to support Preventing Violence in the Home.
